So because the WiFi connection in my room is poor, I installed a Powerline Adapter for my PC and it works amazingly. So I was wondering, is there a way I can use the random WiFi card in my PC to output a WiFi signal in my room for my phone?

you can do that in Windows 10 if you have it.

its a desktop goofball, so it doesn't have a wireless card most likely.

Na I am a goof because I can't get it to work.

 

I've done the bit where you check if your card supports the feature, it says mine does.

 

Now I am stuck on the bit where you type in

 

netsh wlan start hostednetwork

 

Then it comes back with - The hosted network couldn't be started.
The wireless local area network interface is powered down and doesn't support the requested operation.
