So i am going to build my first PC in May. I have posted a list before, but i have changed out many of the parts...

Do you think the graphics card is bottlenecked by anything? Is the power supply to big/small?

ALSO i am using the HAF X because of the window and good cable management.

I am from Norway, so i am ordering from Dustinhome.no and here is the list http://www.dustinhome.no/Favorites.aspx?list=95bb9603961c40aaade9f3f0bcbc44 7a

CASE: Coolermaster HAF X

CPU: Intel core I5 3570K

GPU: Gigabyte Geforce GTX 680 OC 2GB

PSU: Corsair CX600W M Bronze

MOBO: ASUS Sabertooth Z77

HDD + SSD: Seagate barracuda 2TB 7200RPM + I own a OCZ Agillity 3 240GB SSD already (it does the job)

RAM: Corsair 2x4GB XMS3 Vengeance 1600Mhz CL9

OTHER ACCESORIES i am buying:

DVI-D monitor cable

Steelseries sensei

Antistatic wristband

OTHER ACCESORIES i own:

I would definitely go with a 7970 over a 680 due to better amd driver optimization and better game bundle, not to mention its ~$100 cheaper too

If you really care about aesthetics then get the sabertooth but you are really just paying extra for a plastic shroud that that increases your temps and a fan that is just the most loudest and annoying thing ever

Nothing current generation will be bottle necked by anything else current generation so you're fine

Your psu is fine and you can even go with a 550W but if you wanted a fully modular psu, the ocz zt 550W is a great buy

Oh and also you don't actually need a antistatic wristband as long as you properly ground yourself, unless you are doing something stupid like rubbing your feet on a wool carpet while mounting your cpu

3770k, Asrock Extreme 4, 16GB Dominator Plat, AX760i, 250GB BX100, 1.5TB Seagate, Win 7 Home Prem

Well... For the motherboard, i could just turn down the speed of the fans, because its almost my only choice on the website im ordering from. The only other motherboard could be ASUS Maximus V formula. BUT ITS TO DAMN EXPENSTIVE ARGHHH

If you take off the shroud, then why pay an extra $100 for something you're not going to use

The Sabertooth isn't the only option on that site, the MSI GD45 is a great motherboard, and is also half price.

You can also look at the Mpower which is cheaper by 50kr, or the GD-65 by 250kr.

For a high end system like that I'd change out the power supply. The CX Series is pretty mediocre and has coil whine issues. For a tight budget build it'd be alright but not something of this budget. I'd swap it for the SeaSonic SSR-550RM. You can make up for the extra cost be lowering your RAM to 2x8GB. It's basically impossible for a gaming machine to use even that at this point.

i have the money to waste so just making it a little more future proof :)

can you suggest a power supply from the ones they have on the website (dustinhome.no)? none of the seasonic PSUs are modular... (and they dont have SeaSonic SSR-550RM)

what do you think about the OCZ ZT 550W psu? it would go well with the colour scheme of the computer

I haven't had any personal experience with it but I haven't heard the greatest things about OCZ PSUs.
