PCIE Riser Cable

I plan on buying the ThermalTake Core P5 case in the near future and I've been seeking a lot about the riser cable included is junk and has issues has anyone here experienced this exact cable and if so is there a decent fix I'd like to mount my GPU vertically for aesthetics.

Actually ThermalTake recently started making riser cables, the go for anywhere between $25-90 USD on Amazon.

If there is a name brand attached to it, it should be alright.  It's the generic brands you have to watch out for.  I can't speak for Thermaltake, however I am using a CoolerMaster for my 1080 Ti and it works flawlessly.

I currently have a Thermaltake P1 and the riser cable works just fine; no issues in the last 6 months or so. I've had a few different GPU's installed, too. I'd imagine the cables are the same between the Thermaltake models.
