I have overclocked my ram from 1333mhz to 1600mhz, without voltage changes. How do i test if its stable? Im using kingstons 4gb 1333mhz non ecc ram. Only using 1 DIMM. All i did was i bumped the DRAM freq to 800 will i notice any performance increases? In games etc..

Run Prime95. RAM doesn't really affect gaming performance.
How long do i have to run it for? I have ran prime95 for the last 1 hour, it seems fine.

Wat if i bump the DRAM freq to 933 (1866mhz)?

Memtest86 is the best way, but it takes a pretty long time.

http://www.memtest.org/

You will feel pretty much no performance difference no matter what speed your RAM is running at.

CPU: AMD 3950x Mobo: MSI B550 RAM: 32GB DDR4 GPU: Asus 3080 Strix PSU: Superflower Leadex 3 720w Case: BeQuiet 500DX

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

How did I miss a memory OC thread...?

I've been using HCI MemTest. It is way faster than Mem86 and P95.

There's also HyperPi, just run a 32M test, if it passes then you're pretty much golden. I do both.

thanks!

You can also use LinX to test your ram to see if it is stable by selecting all the ram in LinX and running it.
