Thoughts on HardwareCanuck's reversed airflow test

Okjoek

This video goes over a question I've wondered for a long time.

(spoilers)

So apparently on the Kolink case they used reversing the airflow helped the CPU a little, but hurt GPU temps. I wonder if you reversed the airflow, but also had an intake on the floor of the case to give the GPU fresh air would it make this setup more viable?

It would be best to separate the CPU and GPU via a screen while enabling air to flow over both sides of the GPU to prevent heat accumulation due to the loss of CPU fan airflow.

Having bottom intake for GPU would defeat purpose of reversing airflow in normal case. There are cases which already have reversed layout, where GPU would be intaking from top. In that having rear as intake would still provide best effect on CPU without GPU taking the hit.
