OSD on wrong monitor.

ShinchanNL

Hi all,

So here's my problem. I got a dual monitor setup. 1 monitor via DVI and the other via HDMI. As soon as I fire up any on screen display programs like fraps, msi afterburner or evga OC it shows the OSD on the monitor connected via HDMI. I already set the DVI monitor as primary display but Windows keeps addressing that monitor as monitor 2.

Is there any way to change that ?

Normally I would say switch the ports but they're different interfaces so that idea goes out the window. So you say you've already tried setting the display as the main one and doesn't work right. Maybe NVIDIA Conrol Panel may have an additional option for this, not sure. But what I can suggest is to unplug the monitor with HDMI and attempt to reinstall drivers, after its done try to plug it back in and see what happens (restart also to make sure its not reverting back). Playing around with it might sort it out. Using DDU also might be something to look at.

Tnx  , will  try reinstalling drivers with only the DVI monitor hooked up.
