Looking for ideas

Name a thing, you could surely identify as being red, even if the picture is monochrome.

 

I'll start a few off: blood, heart

 

It is very loosely needed for a kinda school project in typography lesson, where i need to create a monochrome text of the word red, but it needs to feel red too, or something like that.

My current idea is to make the text bloody, or shaped like a heart, but more ideas are welcome, as those 2 ideas are guaranteed to be already taken by someone.

 

I could also choose the word blue, but the only idea that comes into my mind is to make the text shaped like a ocean wave,,,

Maybe cherry or tomato? These two things are also red and easy to draw.

I think a heart looks fine, I made this in photoshop in like a minute.

Maybe a pepper,a strawberry, an apple, a slice of watermelon or even a ladybird would look fine.  Or maybe a red mushroom or a rose?

 

If you really want something special and unique, you can also choose a British telephone box.

The typography course is already finished, but thanks anyways.

If my final work gets rejected I'll take into consideration your ideas.

 

 

@Rokababy  thanks for the many ideas. If the teacher rejects my work I'll use one of them.

@wasab fire was the idea I went with.

@EPENEX I wanted to do something similar, but the teacher didn't allow it, as the idea was to lazy according to him.

I ended up doing the word in fire and burning. As for the final test there were many words, and you had to modify them so they are still readable, but at the same time they embody the word itself. So all the easiest ways were banned, for example making the word red by coloring it red.

 

I could do all of them, but the word red was pretty hard.

I was surfing in the topic and I thought that giving some ideas would be useful. I didn't know that the poster's task had already finished.

I saw it due to morning hours and the forum being relativly quiet at that time. At that time it isnt unusual to see 8 hour old responses being recent

The deer is commonly thought as being the best meat out of the deer families (elk, reindeer, moose). The Elk and deer are probably quite similar, but not identical. I doubt they can breed together.

lol I was being fatcetious because you called it deer "beef" instead of meat. I know know plenty about them I have three chest freezers in my basement with an assortment of deer (white tail and mule), elk, and wild boar. 

 

Oh oh and if you have a chance at elk, it's fantastic, (personally speaking) better than deer.

Nice. We have a couple of deers in the freezer. Also some of the last reindeer we will be able to get a hold of due to measures taken to remove CWD. 2500 reindeer cleared out to avoid contaminating to other reindeers in nearby "zones". The area will be empty for 5+ years.

We do have moose, however it is very rare here and uncommon to come across compared to regular Deer.
