Hello,

My current PC:

R5 1600

gtx 1070 palit

16 GB ram vengeance rgb( or smth like that)

Fatal1ty AB350 Gaming K4

cheiftec 750w psu ( works for 3 years+ now no prob :D)

stock cooler

2x120gb ssd

1tb hdd

So I want to gift this pc to my nephew, only thing as RAM and GPU are so expensive now I think I will hold RAM and mby GPU too.

So now I want to create new pc, as I mentioned I will hold RAM sticks for now and lets say will gift GPU too.

Pref Intel cpu, why? I was using ryzen 5 1600 for like over year now or about and its ok no prob but nothing special.

What I want from my new PC:

1) ability to stream while gaming

2) mby video rendering capabilities ( dont want to wait two hours for 30 min video)

3) I got both 1080p and 4k monitor (1080p will be upgraded to 1440p layter this year) so basically PC should handle 1440p gaming or even 4k (though 1440p prefer, coz using 4k for PS4 gaming anyway and new monitor 1440p will have gsycn +144Ghz and will be used for PC gaming)

4) Pref liquid cooling, always wanted to try it, though I still go my be quit pure rock cooler waiting for it to be used.

5) no color/rgb theme needed it can be totally without it I dont care about it.

6) Also if its possible to get cheaper part then I pref it, my PC never hold more than 1-2 year max and I gift it or upgrade smth my self.

I would suggest waiting until the B450 boards come out and then getting 2nd gen Ryzen, or see if the B350 and 1st gen Ryzen drop in price more.  Or maybe you wait until 2nd gen Threadripper drops.

1) If streaming, stay with Ryzen, just move up to an 8 core part or if you want even more for editing, wait for threadripper refresh

2) See above

3) Even more reason to stay with Ryzen, less emphasis on CPU as resolution increases, the less gap there is between 8700k and 2700X in gaming

4) What is your budget? Would you consider a custom loop?

5) n/a

7) Budget?

Few things to consider: its likely (90%) that I will more play video games after work day than streaming and so, its just nice add if possible.

Im from Lithuania prices are very different than elsewhere but budget would be ok like 1000-1200 eur (thats without RAM coz)

Even so, the difference at 1440P isn't worth what you would lose when streaming and editing - ok it makes TR not an option, but I think either wait for 8c Coffeelake/whatever replacement name is or go with a 2700X

Im not against ryzen at all Im happy with my ryzen 5 1600 its ok cpu no problem iwth it (only got ltos of problems with radeon gpus, cpu from red side is fine) so Im ok with new ryzen, just that all tests shows 8700k for example gets like 10-30fps more depends on the game and veeeery similar results in rendering (like 10-15% slower) thats why I though about intel.

Here the prices in my country, I changed few parts(cooler/psu) coz other are much more expensive than your prices.

Also what about gpu ? I got gtx 1070 now its ok but I want to be able to play all games on high settings (not ultra not necessary) in 1440p 144hz monitor (60 fps for triple a games, and 144hz for some fps or smth, u know)

Those FPS results you are seeing are with a 1080ti at 1080P, you will be pretty much GPU bound in all games with a 1070 at 1440P, the CPU will make little difference, maybe 5 FPS ... you will gain much more than that when you are streaming and editing.

If you need to save more money, drop to a 550w PSU, no need for a 750w, rest looks good
