Hello everybody!

I'm stuck with my old PC for quite a long time now, so I decided that it is time to buy a new one.

To start:

-> I'm a student so my budget is limited around €1.500 ~ $1800.

-> I'm an average gamer, I don't care about 4k gaming and 8000+ benchmark scores, but multi-GPU is a thing I would concider to do in the future.

-> I have a keyboard, mouse, headset and monitor (don't need to count that in my allready limited budget).

-> You are free to choose if it is an AMD build or Intel build.

-> I tried to make a PC part picker list, if that could help anyone:)

             https://pcpartpicker.com/user/NAGEL-MAY1/saved/QwHPsY

Extra:

-> Please note that I'm not rich and that I would like to keep this PC as long as I can (if this is possible).

->Is it possible to build a PC, with my budget, that could play games on ultra settings without any trouble?

Kinds regards and Thanks in advance!

I'd swap the RAM for a 2x8GB instead of a 1x16GB for dual channel and maybe pick a higher tier PSU since you're going with higher-end components.

The 1070 should be fine for high settings 1080p. Ultra settings depends on the resolution and refresh rate you intend to play on, but with 1080p60 you can probably get away with ultra in the less demanding games. Most of the time "ultra" quality just bumps up AA and such to insane values biting a large chunk out of your FPS anyway.

If you don't care about having  the best graphics why not just buy a decent R5 2400G system for now and just toss in a next generation GPU when they come out in a few months?

We might get info on them at computex soon.

Parts list anyways

I'm sorry, but I'm not going to wait another year. Even if they come out in a couple of months, the GPU will be very expensive and I can't afford that. It's like 4 years now that I play games on low settings and have a lot of lag due to the frames (10-15) and I'm getting a little bit tired of it.

I thank you all for your help and quick responses, I think that I have now enough information to build my proper PC.

Or that, in a few months it'll be 1080ti performance at that same price point.
