MIC doesn't work.. please help

So I updated my rig and now when I plug in my headset Hyperx Cloud II it works and everything is fine, but I can't hear any1 ingame in OW and they can't hear me if I talk.. The next thing is that my mic also doesn't work in discord, but it works when I go in recordings and press to listen to the device.. Did I disable something while disabling most of the unecessary stuff for windows10 which caused it? I can only hear myself here > when I check listen to this device and press apply.. only there I can hear myself and when I'm talking it doesn't pickup my voice in recordings? I think it should right?

Do you have the the hedset set as the default input device?

Is your headset set as the input device in discord?
