Is there a way I can hack my samsung phone that has a very distroyed screen? I was able to activate smart switch after an hour of frantic random button pushing to get some stuff off it but all my photos were not set to transfer and the touch part is now dead to so like....can I hack my phone somehow to get the stuff off it? it is an S8plus

What do u mean by "hack"? if the phone is truly dead and its not just a dead screen, your out of luck. If the mainboard still works, send it in for repairs then get the photos off of it. Anything you can do has the possibility of making it worse. I personally wouldn't take the risk.

it is standard

If none of that has been done, it's going to be hard to suggest anything. If you had said the opposite, I would have suggested using ADB to basically pull files, or sideloading an APK to the phone and using the ADB commandline to create a backup. Since I can't, I'd suggest asking in the XDA-Developers Forum for something like this.

"The only thing that matters right now is that you're here, and you're safe."

I already have a replacement phone from my protection plan, at this point it's like how do I get the photos off... the phone itself is fine just the screen is dead it is easy to tell this as the screen will start working or stop based on whare you push on the screen.... sadly it has now gotten the black blotches of death meaning I have no screen access but the phone is working.

You could ask your protection provider if they can do that for you, but i cannot recommend doing anything that involves flashing anything to your phone as it can make the situation much worse. You could use ADB to pull of the files, but that requires some advanced knowledge of how android works to accomplish. I would ask around and see if someone (carrier, phone manufacturer, protection provider, ex) can do it for you for a reasonable amount of money.

Oh my.... I wish smart switch was like automatic password protected so I could just plug into a PC and backup without needing to access the screen

I think what's confusing us is what do you mean by "hack". Do you mean altering the software to allow access to your files? Changing the hardware? If all you want is your data, none of those are a good idea. If you don't have a deep understanding of how android works, it would be difficult to use a command line interface like ADB to get the stuff off. I would just recommend letting someone else do it unless you really know what your doing. Talk to the protection company and see if they can get the pictures off your phone and put them on a new phone. You won't have to risk damaging your phone hardware wize of software wize and make your data unrecoverable.
