I'm looking to buy a used RX 580, and want one that hasn't been degraded by months of mining. I can bring the system I'll be running the card in when I go to buy it, and want to test it before I buy. Are there any specific benchmarking programs I should use, or will 3DMark be fine?

You can't really determine whether it has been used for mining by running benchmarks. It's not like a card drastically performs less right before it dies. It's almost binary. It either works great or it's dead.

Any unigine benchmark would be fine. Compare clock speeds to default. Should be there or higher.

Its not gonna tell you anything about mining, or the misconception people have about used cards.
