USB wifi adapter

Hi, I am repairing my brothers computer and he broke the wifi antenna so I need a usb wifi adapter because I don't want to have to re-wire a antenna. 

Requirements 

* 10 or under like it to be closer to 7

* Brand Name (not generic)

* USB 2.0 minimum

Does the wifi antenna from his system screw onto the motherboard? If so and only the antenna portion itself is broken check to see if something like the antenna linked below may fit.

no its a laptop so it routes to the screen from the wifi card

thanks but I am a student and I have no ware near that money to spend on a wifi adapter like I make no money at all but thanks for the imput

Well, if you can buy off eBay and have some time to wait you can get one for  $1.    They had nicer supposedly dual band ones for $9 as well.
