Looking to Run 8 monitors off a Lenovo K450

jcappsiv

Looking for some ways to run 8 monitors off a Lenovo K450. There will be minimum gaming on it and mostly work station use. I have 2 MATROX QID-QDA8X128 128M AGP QUAD VIDEO GRAPHICS CARDs but my machine has only 1 PCI 16x slot. Could I use a riser to achieve this?

And on the expensive side, if I wanted to do some low level gaming.

Could I do an external PCI enclosure and 2 of these cards https://www.visiontek.com/radeon-7750-sff-2gb-gddr5-4m-4x-minidp.html with a riser?

What do you guys think would be the best way to go.

Cheers!

The Cards you have seem to be AGP. Which was the graphics standard slot before PCIe.

They aren't compatible with your PCIe Slots.

two things one there would be a total of 4 outputs, not 8 and each card doesn't have enough ram because my titan xp has a hard time running 4 monitors

Sounds like if you need 8 monitors, you need a new computer as well.

Desktop: i9 11900k, 32GB DDR4, 4060 Ti 8GB 🙂

Bildergebnis für MATROX QID-QDA8X128 128M AGP QUAD VIDEO GRAPHICS CARD

DMS59 connectors.

Splittable, so 4 per card.

vram is neglectable for most non rendering or gaming uses ( for desktop use it's ok.)

Got any questions about my system or peripherals? Feel free to tag me (@bellabichon) and I'll be happy to give you my two cents.

PSA: Posting a PCPartPicker list with no explanation isn't helpful for first-time builders :)
