I need a computer for light video editing and heavy gaming I want it to be able to play any game on at least 1080p. I don't have a 4k or 1440p monitor yet but I might get one. Is it possible to build a 1440p computer for less than 1000$. Would love a list or suggestion.I am looking for very smooth frame rates. I already have the peripherals. I don't want to have to replace it any time soon

Also is buying parts of ebay a good idea. I really need this things to be cheap.

are you looking to get things second hand? used parts will give you the perf/$ only when you buy a bit older stuff... current stuff on ebay isn't any cheaper than retailers. actually with retailers giving you free shipping and other price deals it's just plainly more expensive.
