yoyoyoyoyo i gotta question for a future build:

I used http://www.pcpartpicker.com and my build was like I5-8400K

                                                                                         ASUS motherboard

                                                                                         Corsair RAM

                                                                                         MSI GTX 1060 GPU

and he said "wtf bro,why asus mobo, msi gpu, mcdonalds, coca cola,snickers..wait wait..it's better to replace ur mobo with gigabyte and use gigabyte gpu cuz gigabyte have better cooling than msi GPUs..use the same brands,u need synchronisation man"is he right or wrong? if yes/no,why?

i think this is just a non-issue.  brand name doesn't matter a lot for most parts.  just get the ones with the best price and best reviews.

not unless you want RGB software to be perfectly in sync. no company makes every single component in a computer, there will be parts from different brands in every rig.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

There is absolutely no reason to feel compelled to have a brand-matched build unless you're super picky about your RGB lighting matching up exactly. Select parts that have the features you want at the price you're willing to pay (while being mindful of how well they review, of course). That's all that matters.

Person is an idiot.

Computer parts are compatible across brands. It matters very little.

Everybody loves a car analogy and a lot of cars these days are cross brand platforms with shared common components.

Even at the less extreme end, my Suzuki had a Mitsubishi starter motor. Whoa mind blown, except Mitsubishi is a massive conglomerate and Suzuki doesn't make electric motors so that was the OEM they chose.

Synchronisation be dammed, throws off the whole Feng Shui of the car.

In some cases where there can be proprietary technology, yes brands can be somewhat important. Like in networking there can be manufacturer specific protocols and hardware level incompatiblities such as proprietary modules and inability to stack 2 different brands. However at the end of the day you still can have a network up and running with mixed brands due to the standards.
