I did find that the RAM you have IS on the QVL. So at this point check to be sure the motherboard is not touching the case or anything else it should not. If all that is good than you may have a bad motherboard and you should call ASUS customer support.

Don't know what I did.

You need to first connect your monitor to the built-in video port and than go into BIOS and set it to use a PCI-e card first. reboot move cord to your 1050ti and restart. you should be g2g

Ok remove all but one RAM and try it. if you still fail take that one out and put a different one in but in a different RAM slot and try. Let me know how that goes.

I have just did a bit of reading and found that this board has some issues sadly. you need to update the BIOS to 806. Also some people had luck with a different low Mhz RAM chip. do you know if the RAM module is on the QVL? I recommend if updating the bios doesn't work. Check to see that all mobo standoffs are installed and nothing on the Mobo is touching metal anywhere. Also check that your 8-pin is seated properly. If all else fails and This maybe the case here you may need to RMA it so follow the link below. Asus has decent customer service so here there phone # as well 1-812-282-2787

Alright, don't know about my ram anymore. On ebuyer, I bought DIMM ram, it arrived in a box with a sticker saying UDIMM ram, I thought it was a mixup at the time.

see if your RAM part number is in this document. If not it is not a QVL part than you probably should try to return it for one that is one the list if you can.

though that RAM is the right one. any DDR4 ram would work but sometimes when not on the QVL you have issues.

@Vuxx well the only thing left you can do is call ASUS phone number for your region and talk with them. There is not much more I can think of or that I have been able to find on google. sorry we couldn't get it working like I hoped.

you probably ended up wiggling a cord that was having a lose connection in the 8-pin. I am very glad it is working now.
