Fan compatiblity?

John1212

Hi, im new on here and I have a couple questions First, I have the h100i cpu cooler, I want to change out the stock fans for some rgb ones. I bought several 120mm fans and they don’t fit. Am I buying the wrong size? Would these fans work:

Any standard 120mm fan will work.

How are the fans not fitting? The sizing is standardised, so either you have a 280mm cooler (takes 140mm fans), or the fans are 140mm while the rad is 240mm, depending on whether the fans are too big or too small. If the fans are 120mm and the rad is 240mm, they should fit just fine.

In what way don't they fit? They should as the H100 is a dual 120mm setup :S

Yeah I don't see why they would not fit. Are you sure you didn't buy the H115i?

Do you have a product page that you bought the fans from? Or post a picture of the fan next to the radiator or something.

I’m at school right now I’ll post some pics when I get home to sow how they don’t fit and I’ll take some measurements of the radiator,the stock fans, and the ones I bought. Here’s a pic I have just laying around on my phone the blue rgb fans are the ones that don’t fit they’re to small and they’re 120mm

@John1212

That's not a H100i. It's a 280mm cooler (H110i or H115i) that takes 140mm fans.
