As the website stated it's a charging cable. It's not unlikely that the cable won't carry data.

So unless you have bluetooth connectivity on your computer, a new cable is required. BUT -  the micro USB cable is extremely common. I find it hard to believe you don't have a spare one in your home.

Hi,

i had bought a cheap cable for my ps4 controller off eBay which had stopped working and i have just ordered a new one which has just arrived. I use it mainly for Rocket league which automatically detects  usually if a controller is connected but for some reason its not being recognised it is not the controller as it still works. However the cable i have ordered for some reason it has to mini usb connectors at the end which i think is to be used for two ps4 controllers can it not be used with one? http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5652848

Do i need to order a different cable again?
