sli bridge capabilities

Go to solution Solved by tarfeef101,

Okay, couple things:

1. Please don't spam enter or use an unnecessarily large font, it makes your post so much harder to read...

2. I mean no offense, but your English was somewhat difficult to read. Not sure exactly what your issue is. I believe you have 2 1070s, and one of them has dead memory. If that is the case, then I'm afraid you cannot replace that yourself unless you're the kind of person who wouldn't need to ask. You can contact the manufacturer and ask if they'll repair it under warranty, but whether or not it is covered will depend on many factors. Assuming they say no, then SLI will not help you. SLI clones memory between each card, so the memory in that card will still be used, and if it is damaged, there will still be issues. Perhaps some mining algorithms that use little to no memory may work, but for gaming, you're not gonna have a good time. I'd try to mine with it if your'e into it, or sell it "as-is" on ebay/craigslist, some miner will take the risk and pay something for it. Especially if you include as many details in your ad as possible. I see people buy cards that won't even spin up, so that'll for sure sell.

i have two

gtx

1070 graphics cards one of them is broken but the computer can see it and recognize it when I run the computer with a processor that does not have an integrated video card the computer boots into windows and it runs

completely

good but under load the graphics card starts acting weird when in the service center they told me the

hsb

memory has compromised to high heat and there for it doesn't work it is almost broken so the question is

can
i

run the graphics card in

sli

mood so that the other video card can benefit from its memory or please give me anysuggestions for the problem other than fixing it because it costs 400 dollars and a new graphics card costs 200 dollars

i

don't wont to lose money
