Liquid or air.

Go to solution Solved by SolarNova,

AIO's are great at keeping inital temps down in short bursts, but do remember once an AIO reaches thermal equalibrium, their capacity to cool drops.

Bassicaly, what im saying is, if you use a AIO, and OC ur CPU and do a relativly short burst stability test, stick with a OC, then go on to say do some folding for hours on end, u may find ur system overheating.

Air coolers on the other hand, reach there thermal limit quickly and so what you see within a few minutes is generaly what u get.

Top end air coolers like the Noctua D15, will match or even beat most AIO's. and be quieter at the same time. Its just their bulk that u need to work around.

IMO, if u can fit a big tower air cooler, chose one of those over a AIO, if u cant, then AIO's are worth a look.

If you want any more cooling performance, ull need a custom loop.

Good evening, gentleman. (it’s evening for me)

So the question is simple should I stay with the

COOLERMASTER MASTERLIQUID 240 LITE

or buy

an air cooler.

I know the pricing is different, well I found the liquid one for 52€ and I can’t decide which air cooler is good? Also is there a chance that the liquid cooler breaks, and everything leaks onto the system.

btw don’t judbe me, i’m dumb.

Thanks ;)

Just cool with air, its not worth the risk with water cooling. Buy really really really really really really good air coolers!

If you are o/c'ing and want water cooling then an AIO water cooler is less likely to leak, only if you buy a good one.

Yes there is a chance for the liquid cooler to leak. That's the f*ckin risk of liquid coolers dude. Give me your case model and I can recommend a good ass air cooler. Give me your build too man

Check my profile ;) and I’m not saying anything but you have only 25 posts

Well dude, I'm using everything I know in order to help others. I also joined this community to learn. Nice build btw. I recommend this since it looks like you have a rgb build, Cooler Master MasterAir MA410P RGB CPU Cooler.
