Monolith M1060 DAC/Amp Recommendation.

I'm not really an audio expert so please bear with my terms.

So i recently found out about the m1060. And i decided that these headphones will be my "Gaming Headphones".

The question is, If these headphones need a Dac/Amp to get a better sound quality. Which Dac/Amp would that be?

And also if you have another recommendation for another great headphone which has good sound quality and can make footsteps noticeable and can make you feel like you're actually in the game (ex. you can feel the feelings of the music) , It will be very much appreciated.

Monoprice DAC amp is a good tpa6120a2 based amp, reasonably cheap.

you didn't really give a budget.

PEWDIEPIE DONT CROSS THAT BRIDGE

monoprice usb dac looks better the the headphone amplifier or you could go with the dragonfly red.

If you really want to push those to the fullest you could get an audio gd nfb 28 or one of the other audio gd headphone amps.

What would be your budget? I have heard mix things about the 1060s. I am trying to pick up a set to review myself.

Yeah, the M1060 looks to be a mixed bag actually, I've seen some praise it like it was the second coming, others say it suck with a couple pointing to Monoprice's lack of experience when it comes to damping and QC factor being major cons. Have you had the chance to actually try the M1060 yourself? It really depends if the sound signature of the M1060 suits you......but it may not.

Not yet, been trying to find a used set to pick up. Then I have a guy who said he'd loan me his 1060Cs so I can review both at once.
