My gtx 1050 drivers won't install and it shows up as a video controller on device manager

My drivers for my gtx 1050 oc won't install no matter what I try (uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling windows) it only posts to one port at a time. I'm running a gtx 950 along side it to power my 3rd monitor and an i56600 CPU. I have no idea what's wrong with it and have been tearing out my hair for the past 3h+. Any help is appreciated. Screen shot is with out my 950 installed.

what version of Windows are you using?  Is it 32 bit or 64 bit?

Is your windows up to date? I had a similar problem but it was because my windows was a version before the fall creators update (plus it was modified to hell).

Windows 10, 64 bit.

Also are you sure its even a real 1050, because drivers shouldn't stop it from appearing as such in the device manager. Have you checked it in gpuz?

 

Its most likely you have to update windows but it always pays to be sure before you spend the next hour updating.

It is a real 1050 I got it from amazon direct from asus (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01N4C43KY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1)

Pull the 950 out and try with just the 1050

It was saying it was a 1050 before I had moved over to my ssd.

Im saying he got it from the "Amazon.co.uk." direct seller, who is backordered as of rn.

it clearly says "it is not compatible with this version of windows". the software is likely encountering a problem when it detects what OS the installer is running on....

 

So OP, check, double check, and triple check everything windows and driver related. I doubt its the card...

I just questioned if it was legit then he explained where he got it from. VVoltor just misunderstood. Reasons I told op to inform us after the update.

I had to update 3 times, I was that far behind.
