CPU May 2018 €200 (±€370 for mobo + cpu) (Question)

Hello all of you,

If one were to buy a new system at this moment, with the budget sugested in the title, what would be the best option. There is the r5 2600 and the i5 8600 (/8500). Which would be the better option for mainly gaming.

I do not plan to buy a new graphics card just yet, as i think (read: hope) price will drop in the coming months. But I'm looking at the performance level of a gtx 1070.

Thank you in advance,

and if there's any information missing please let me know :)

Which kind of defeats the purpose of the 1300x, 1500x, etc....
