What's a good RPM rate?

Crossedbow

Hey guys, my question is: what is a good RPM for a 1 or 2 TB HDD?
and also, what brand is good and has a good price range?

if your planning on mass storage 5400rpm

For your main system and or games 7200/10000rpm

Seagate is probably the best value for hard drives atm when you go over 1tb in 7200rpm

10 k is the best, but only the velociraptor, the drive that runs so hot that it comes with a heatsink runs at that. i would go for 7200 rpm
