Wtf do I do

Gunna keep it short. I'm about to throw my comp through a wall.

Msi afterburner crashes my comp

Reinstall

Works

Restart comp to double check
 
Works

Boost gpu by 200 mhz

Boost gpu memory by 50

Set power usage at 105

Set temp at max 85°c

Save

Crash

Restart

Crashes

Msi opens on startup and im sure that's what's causing the crash. Where do I go from here?

I5 kabbylake 3.4ghz

Gtx 1060 6gb windforce Oc

16gb crucial ram

 Lemme know if you need more info trying to calm down rn can't think straight.

If that would have happened to me then I would just not touch the OC of the card.

well you might of lost the silicon lottery, ive had a card that didn't let me OC before too. it sucks

I guess. I don't necessarily need to overclock but I would like the option to.

it looks to me that your GPU is overclokced by the manufacture so you should already have a slight OC so be happy about that. 

 

also are your drivers up to date?

Yes they are just did that today

 

Sidenote: wish nvidia wouldn't force install geforce experience when I update my driver.

Booted in safe mode and removed msi, ez solution I should have thought of right away. Was too blinded by rage lol
