Hi :)

So I set a certain download to open with an app that is incompatible (yea I'm dumb) but now that I have the correct program to open it (WinRAR), I want to change actually open with WinRAR. How can I do this?

Try holding shift or Ctrl when you right click on the file in Windows Explorer, you should get the "Open with" option...

If you mean tell the browser (like firefox for example) what app to use to open a download after saving it to disk, check the options.

// or in your particular case, open winrar and in the settings/options window you can add custom extensions for winrar to handle, i think...

You can change defaults somewhere in Windows. Another way is to reinstall software that has direct support to files. Those will ask which files to associate with said software.
