What does this random cable from my case plug into?

cl4nk

I'm building my pc and ive came across this blue ended cable and I have no idea what it is for. I've watched build tutorials and everything, but there is nothing about this random blue cable that is coming from my case and I cant find anything thay even looks like it can be plugged into. Any idea what this is?

It's a USB 3.0 header cable that goes to the motherboard if it's equipped with it.

What motherboard are you using currently?

If you look at the board, you should be able to tell. If you don't want to do that, you can download CPU-Z and navigate to the Mainboard tab and find that info there.

If it's using a 4790K, chances are higher that it has one versus not. USB 3.0 is pretty old honestly.

The header is a right-angle one. It's above the SATA ports.
