Upgrade cpu or not?

Hey all, right now i have a decent rig goin on that i use for gaming and i host a terraria server for my and my friends to play on sometimes (not 24/7). Right now i have an sapphire hd 7770 ghz edition (OCed to 1040/1165) 8 gb of gskill ripjaws 1333mhz ram, 2 western digital caviar blues (one for games and one for os and storage), an i3 2120 @ 3.3 GHz and a gigabyte motherboard (not sure what kind) all running on a 500w cooler master extreme power plus psu wrapped up nicely in an antec 300. For christmas i am getting a gtx 760, right now my cpu dosent throttle or anything, never had very hard use but should i upgrade to an ivy bridge 3570k or should i just wait tell 5th gen cpus from intel? Someone please give me an answer/opinion. Thanks

Try upgrading if you have the spare monay's if not, then stick with what you've got, it handles well on terraria I bet no problem

If all you're playing is Terraria then you should just wait for Broadwell. Are Sandy Bridge Mobos compatible with Ivy Bridge CPUs?

If it's serving you fine then wait.

Once you get a 760, that i3 will be bottlenecking it a lot. So get a 3570K. But it'd be better to wait for 5th gen.

If it is working fine right now I would say wait for Broadwell or Haswell E CPU's.

If you notice bottlenecking when you get the 760 then upgrade it. Otherwise, want to wait for 5th gen

Well i dont only play terraria lol, if i only played terraria i wouldent even have dedicated graphics. I play games like skyrim metro mw3 bf3 (soon to be bf4) planetside 2 and lots of other games

well if you will upgrade find out what mobo you have.chipset i mean,to go with the K.but i suggest to wait for next gen,the i3 can handle the games

If terraria is the only game you play then don't upgrade now. But if you start playing other games and can't get the same performence with a 760 as many benchmarks the cpu is bottlenecking and then upgrade now yes
