Cheap but reliable IP camera solution

Hi there, I did promised my father that I will look into his request for securing front and back of his family house in cental Europe, with water resistant IP cameras preferably wifi, cause he does not to wish to make any more unnecessary holes up his roof. Something you can just mount up and plug it in power socket. Most of these cameras as far I know can be set to turn on only if motion was detected. He also needs one indoor camera for living room with recording angle at least 180 degreess so it can record two entraces to house from corner. I have no clue how to solve storing of this video either, some cammeras do have memory cards, but those outer cameras will probably have to store video some other way on some pc server or some similar device. Father also wishes to minimize all costs so I would be glad for any helpful suggestions. I don't have any experience with IP cameras so far.

You can try using a conventional camera system with drives and stuff,but if he's not a tech wiz and if you don't live with him,it be for the better to just grab some Nest cams and call it a day

Have a look at ring. They started with a video doorbell that doubled as a security camera, now they have dedicated security cameras.

They also have plans where you can store all the video on their servers so everything is accessed via one webpage
