Please help

Yo. Im having some trouble with my computer i upgrading the power supply from a 500 to a 750 it was not turning on but i got it working now but now it freezes in the window screen before loging in or it will not find a source on my screen. but when i put the old power supply back in it works fine. please help

Make sure you recheck all of your cable connections. If you still have warranty with it, you can always just RMA.

is there a good connection and did you plug in all the cables correctly?

yes all cables are in right and i even switched them out for other ones and still does the same thing

Is the computer a pre-built?  If so, it's possible the connections on the old power supply are proprietary.

yea, it is a pre-built. so that means it wont work because i bought a gtx 1060 as well as this and my old power supply does not have a pcie connector

a 1060, even the 3gb variant, is WAY overkill for an FX 4300.

should i upgrade my processor, what is one you would suggest that is good but cheep because i just bought the power supply and gtx for 600

hmm... unfortunately you're locked to AM3+ at maximum... Maybe an FX 8300? (used, of course, because cheap.)

and that should be able to run the gtx 1060
