RAM slots stopped working.

i upgraded my pc today and i installed the bequiet pro 2 cpu cooler, GTX 680 and a new CS750M power supply.

my question is ever since i have installed these upgrades two of my ram slots dont work so instead of getting 16GB of RAM im getting 8GB instead.

Does anyone have a solution to this at all?

Have you reverted the upgrades then see if they work?

I had this happen right before my Mobo went BANG!. could be the same thing. the NB is about to go.

What motherboard do you have? You might only be able to support up to 8GB with your board.

no not yet but i will try this now and see if it works

i have the gigabyte Z77-DS3H and i have had 16GB in this motherboard and it has worked

Supports it alright,  Have you tried clearing the CMOS etc?
