HyperX Cloud II mic not working on pc

Alrighty so I got the Cloud II a few weeks ago and now that I just hopped on to play some fortnite, my friend said he couldn't hear me even though I made sure that the connectors were neatly in place and it wasn't loose and also replugged a few times. I literally just figured out it works fine on my iPad so i'm assuming it's only on this PC. Any suggestions? (No my dongle isn't muted)
