99 load while doing nothing

Hello, so i have my graphics card for almost a year now and since last wednesday its performing weird. It constantly says 99% load, even when im doing nothing. That isnt the only problem, my fps doesnt go higher then 30 in every game. How can i fix this? *Ive tried downloading the latest Nvidia drivers and that did not work, Ive also tried turning off Vsync and that didnt work aswell

Hmmm, not sure about that. It should be running fine. Is there a way of doing a factory reset? If so try that

I used the taskmanager and there was a application using 98% of my gpu and i closed that application and im now testing my games again

Hang on, what app? I don't get how it can use that much of your GPU unless it was a game.

it probably was a coin miner.

 

OP, check the source of the APP, probably it comes from %APPDATA% masked with the name of something like Realtek, Nvidia, etc.

Whatever comes from %APPDATA% is fishy. The most desired path for shady software executing in background.

What was the name of the app or program?
