The RX470 is faster than the 1050Ti :) it's between the 1050Ti and 1060 3GB pretty much.

You can get a GTX 1070 for the same price as a RX470.
AMD GPUs are super expensive right now and the Pascal architecture is much better than Radeons at the moment.

I would save a few more bucks to get the GTX 1070 Ti though.

Right now a 1050ti would be better than an RX 470 price/performance wise.
