Hello everyone.

So the other day I ordered a Corsair H60 Liquid Cooler for my CPU, as I was in dire need of a new one.

The the reason I am posting this is for two reasons, one being because I’ve never had a Liquid Cooler before and two because I’m having difficulties installing it.

This is where I’m having difficulties, the fan attached to the radiator has a connector that is 4 Pins, and the Pump that connects to the CPU itself has a connector that is 3 Pins, as well as the SATA Power Cable. However my motherboard has two ports, one labeled SYSFAN1 and the other CPUFAN. However both are 4 Pins? So what do I do?

I’ve already posted about this on TomsHardware, but I have yet to receive anything that is of at all use.

Also, I have a 760GMA-P34 (FX) paired with an AMD FX-6300.

Thanks!

You can plug in a 3 pin fan into a 4 pin header or vise versa with no problem. The only issue is, if you plug in a 4 pin fan into a 3 pin header, you get no PWM fan control.

According to the manual, plug the 3 pin pump connector to the 4 pin CPU header, and the radiator fan to the SYSFAN header.
