So I have a dual bios motherboard but it doesn't seem to have a bios at all. Is there a way I can either flash a bios on there or still use the motherboard and boot from a USB to install Linux to a hard drive and then still use it? All that shows when I turn on the pc is a black screen with a blinking underscore cursor on the left. I can't type anything or do anything. There isn't even a splash screen before that, it boots immediately to that black screen.

You have to probably force the back-up BIOS, so this is a way to do it.

I did all of that, including jumping the pins 1 and 6. I think the backup is corrupt or something because even if I did that the same thing would happen except before the blank screen I would get a password prompt and it would have my old bios password on there. That's the only thing that changed
