Hey.

So i'm currently downloading Windows onto my Mac Book Air. ( its taking 10 years to download due to slow Internet )

I was wondering, I think I tried this before, My Laptop only has 128GB SSD on it, And Windows needs like 50 gbs or something. And I Think when I tried it last time, It said "not Enough Space to Download Windows"

So I was wondering Is it possible to Run it off a USB? so when ever I wanted to use Windows id Just plug it into my Laptop, Because I only need windows for 2 out of the 10 Programs i'm in.

Hey,

So I may just be paranoid, But Ive just installed Windows onto my Mac Book Air,

Its only a 128SSD Macbook, So I dont really Have much room left,

But is it possible Running Windows, Can make the laptop conduct more heat? (Near the middle top of the keyboard)

Like I said, It may just be im paranoid. But it feels hotter then it use to be, And ive left it off after installing Windows because it was very hot,

But, All I need Windows for is for Excel, Because It wasnt letting me Open our class files, It would Generate heat.

Just wanted to know if it is going to make more heat, even more then it did before.

Sorry if that was hard to explain tried as shit.

Windows is in general harder to run and uses more resources than macOS does. So yes, I would expect running in Windows to cause the Mac to warm up. However this should not be cause for alarm.

Should be fine?

I've sadly babied this thing.. Seeing that it cost me an arm and a Leg to buy it.

well considering it just was installed and Windows sees a new installation its trying to set itself up with Microsoft and run all sorts of background tasks. It should start cooling down after all that is finished.

Having Windows and macOS installed on the same drive won’t affect temperatures when running in macOS in any way.

USB is the only way. Just have him get a 16GB flash drive that he can keep using after he makes the bootable USB.

I knew you were gonna reply!
LMAO. But okie!

Is it possible I could download it on a USB of mine? and Let him use it, Then take it back and he wouldn't need it anymore?

Can I use the WIndows Tool that lets you make a USB drive?

And I recently reinstalled my PC windows with A usb So I already have a 64Bit Windows 10 on a USB could I just use that?

I've never done it but I think it would be best to set up the usb disk on his machine using his machines copy of the bootcamp assistant.

Wait i'm confused.

Do you know of a Guide that shows how to Do it with the USB route?

Seems like every Video I find, Isn't really showing the USB method.

Thanks ::))

You need to mount the Windows 10 ISO to a USB drive.

There is more that meets the eye
I see the soul that is inside
