I got a new LG TV(49uj6307) and I started reading up about casting my PC's screen to it. I read about Miracast and found out that there is a quite new feature "Miracast over infrastructure", but I can't seem to find any tutorials on how to set it up. What I want to do is cast my PC's screen to the TV, my PC is connected to a router with a ethernet cable and the TV is connected to the same router through WI-FI. Help would be really appreciated :D

does your PC have a miracast module build in?

No I dont think so but, from what I know Miracast is integrated in windows 10 and the updated version of Miracast with the ability to use it with infrastructure is in newer versions of windows 10. I only heard that older TV's need some kind of dongle to use the Miracast feature, but it seems that my TV has it integrated.

your TV has it integrated but your PC does not, Windows 10 supports the functionality but the hardware side which means having a transmitter for miracast is also important.

But shouldn't it just work through the router, because on laptops or your phone it connects to the TV through WI-FI?
