VPN over 4G?

So I recently got PIA thanks to a certain good deal but I have a quick question. Right now my only way to get online is by sharing the 4G from my phone to my pc.

Do I run the VPN program on my pc or on my phone to be safe? I'm an absolute idiot when it comes to this stuff so please keep it simple. :'D

you can route vpn traffic from your phone but its little iffy with most phones, share your internet from your phone and use VPN on your PC.

In terms of security it doesn't matter, the connection from your phone either way will be connecting to the VPN. In terms of reliability, in my experience VPN clients run terribly on mobile devices so I would suggest you run it on your desktop.
