Will xbox kinect work with PC

Hi!

So I got an Xbox one Kinect for like 5 bucks. I really don't know why did i bought it I don't own a Xbox one.I bought it because it was really cheap.But currently I don't have any use for it.I have a PC so can it be used for security options like Windows Hello or something Else?.If Yes can you please tell me how.Thank you.

I think you can use it on PC but you need an adapter.

It came with all adapters and other stuff.The seller gave me everything

So, if it already has an adapter to USB, just plug it in and see what it does.

It show up as a regular camera.I was wondering can it be used for windows hello or anything else
