Hey all! I recently FINALLY got everything I need for my PC to run. While originally my PC ran fine on integrating graphics, to my dismay I needed a new PCIe cord. After a week I finally got it, and put it into my graphics card and PSU. Unfourtunately, my PC did not turn on, and the PWR LED for my Z370-a mobo was on. Any ideas for troubleshooting?

SPECS:

GPU: GeForce GTX 1080

CPU: I7 8700k

PSU: Corsair Something Idk 750W

Mobo: previously mentioned

Does anything occur when you hit the power button? Is the connector going to the power supply oriented the right way? Are both ends fully secured in the respective connectors?

yup

Strange. Did you change anything? I mean, I guess you did by disconnecting it and reconnecting it. The connector may not have been fully seated.

yeah that must have been the issue. now i’m back to my old problem of it saying that the PCIe cables need to be connected, which i made a topic about in the graphics card section

Do you have any other video cards to try?

Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 Windforce OC GV-N1080WF3OC-8GD, according to the amazon page

For your PCIe power connector, are you using an eight pin or a six pin connector?
