So I recently got a i7 3770k and plan to overclock it as high as I can. to do that I am looking at new coolers to replace my hyper 212 LED, I am looking at a H100i or a Noctua NH-D15.

I have no idea if the D15 will fit in my case though, the 212 fits no problem but the D15 is huge, and I am having trouble finding specs on how big a cooler my case will take.

here are links for the case and coolers:

I think I will be using the Noctua NT H1 thermal paste

here they said that they managed to fit a 165 mm cooler in there. I so I guess that the noctua cooler would be a really tight fit

Thanks, I think it might be safer to get the water cooler xD or get a full size tower.

I've actually asked a similar question to yours and another member recommended this cooler to me http://www.scythe-eu.com/en/products/cpu-cooler/fuma.html.

It very similar to the noctua you posted except that it is a little bit cheaper and shorter about 150mm.

thanks for the recommendation, unfortunately I cant find any retailers in Canada and I dont think they ship to canada.

The NH-D14/D15 are both 160mm tall so it shouldn't be a tight fit at all.

What ram do you have? The coolers fit the case just fine but you should make sure the ram isn't too tall.

Yeah, the height without fan is wrong, should be 160mm.

This is nice "tool" if you have printer and case doesn't have compatibility listed anywhere CRYORIG CASE DEPTH CHECKER | Research Idea Gear
