Do you have a dac? Did you just randomly find or buy these?

I do have a gungnir right now that I am selling to get the rme adi-2 dac. Looking for a complementing amp to go with.

Hi. Would you be able to post the exact brand and model of your 2 headphones?  That'll give "us" something to chew on.  Welcome to the forum, eh.

For asthetics, the Woo Audio WA22 looks fantastic. I’m a sucker for brushed aluminum.  At ~$1900, I’d expect quality output.

I’m a fanboy of the Schiit product line; however, these other options have excellent reputations (I’ve heard them talked about in hushed whispers on head-fi and this forum).

You’re getting some excellent suggestions, @marcussmj . Go for it, eh. :-)

If you're happy with the gungnir, why not a Ragnorak stack? 3K should be enough if you don't get the trims on the DAC and find a used amp.

The problem with the utopia is that the cans need less power compared to lots of high-resistance cans, so the Rag's variable gain fits right in the scheme.

Tubes are tubes, and some people like them and some people don't. I'm more of a solid state guy myself, and I can enthusiastically recommend the GS-X mk2 for a TOTL pure amp which is more refined than the Schiit offerings. You'll have to pair it with a good dac, though.

At this level of performance and quality, IMO the only real input is you sitting in front of the AMPs with the cans. Everything else is just hearsay.
