Computer won't turn on HELP!

Virgule

Hi,

My computer won't turn on after a few hardware swaps I did.

Parts :
MSI Z77 Mpower, i5 3570k @ 4.0 Ghz, ATI HD4870, Gskill sniper low voltage 2x4gb 1600Mhz, Samsung 840 series 256gb (os), 2x ST4000DM000 (raid 1).

So here's what I did. I shut down the computer, I disconnected every wire with caution to wait for CL_CMOS LED to turn off before pulling the cord. I then switched my ram for Gskill Ares 2x8Gb 1866Mhz (occupying DIMM slots 2 and 4, same ones as my previous ram sticks) and switched my GPU for Asus R9 280x DCUII.

I reconnected everything, CL_CMOS LED powered on. When I pushed the power button, nothing. I pushed and pushed again but nothing happens. I noticed that CL_CMOS LED turns off after I try to push the ON button on my case. When I switch the power off, the LED remains off until it flashes briefly and turns off again.

I've tried putting my old parts back in 1 by 1 but it won't turn on again.

old ram timings (CL9-9-9-24, 1.25V) new ram timings (CL10-11-10-30, 1.5V)

The lights on my new gpu's pcb were lit during this struggle. Power could come from the pcie adapters though.

Please help!

Check that all cables are tight and connected. And that ram is really isntalled. If your mobo has onboard power switch, try booting with it.

Didn't work. I checked everything power related, I cleared CMOS. I tried with only 1 ram stick in DIMM 2. Nothing. Now that I cleared  CMOS, the CL_CMOS led doesn't even turn on when the psu is connected.

The 24 pin connector was loose on the psu side. It doesn't lock in and click and is a little loose normally.

I figured it out after testing psu with multimeter (EVERY F***ING pin), after testing cpu on a friend's mobo and testing ram with memtest on that same mobo. Also, multiple assembling and disasembling of rig. I'm just going to play BF4 now. KTHXBY
