Hey guys, I've tried quite a few things to fix this yet it persists. Everytime I open a drive or folder or a sub-folder, it takes aeons (exaggeration) to fully load it and even the mouse slows down until it's done.

And it doesn't occur on ONLY folders with tons of images or videos or anything. It occurs on ALL folders/sub-folders.

It also occurs on my 2tb External drive as well.

Things I've tried so far to fix:

1. Increase windows thumbnail cache size via registry 2. Defragment HDD 3. Reduce temps of processor and HDD

On Hard disk sentinal , Internal Hard disk Health is at 80% (1TB)

External HDD (2TB) is at 100%

Problem occurs on all devices as fore mentioned.

My Specs:

Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Intel Core i7 4790K Non OC

MSI Z97 Gaming 3 Mobo.

931GB Seagate ST31000528AS (SATA)

1863GB Seagate Expansion Desk USB External HDD

238GB TS256GSSD370S (SSD)

12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz RAM

2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Any Ideas?
