PC controller that can have assignable macros?

I have been using an Xbox one controller, I enjoy to use a controller because I believe that is a bit more comfy for my wrists and fingers. However, as expected I have run into some restrictions that I do not face whenever using mouse and keyboard for input.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to solve this issue?

rebind keys, apologies. To be entirely honest I don't really know the difference asides from the fact that macros can perform multiple functions which a single keypress.
Which would also be nice.

last time i used logitech's controller software it could do keybinds just fine, but thats ages ago.

 

that said, you could use glovepie to make Xinput call keyboard or mouse inputs.

since the glovepie website is a long gone piece of history, you'll need to refer to folks like these to find a download for it:

(PS: if someone can show me an equally functional alternative to glovepie, please do..)
