Why not get a 1060 one for that price? Set on a 1050 ti?

You can do better than a 1050 Ti for that price. Check out the Dell Inspiron 7567 family. I've got one with a 1050 Ti and a 1080p IPS screen, and it works wonderfully.

And it cost $700.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

Get the 4k panel model if you want a good display. Also take note that the 1060 in Dell 7577 is Max-Q variant which is 10-15% slower than 1060N, however you can tune it to near a 1060N due to good cooling.
