Hello.

So at this point I'm pretty done with the constant power outages in this damn country, and therefore I would like to purchase a UPS to would give me those few minutes to properly shut down my system.

But I know absolutely nothing about them and so here I am.

I've been looking into this one: http://www.apc.com/shop/gr/en/products/APC-BACK-UPS-1400VA-230V-AVR-Schuko-Sockets/P-BX1400U-GR?switchCountry=true

My PSU is Corsair RMx 650. And I require only two outlets: one for the PC and the other for the monitor. My system usually shuts off within 3-5 seconds so I don't need a lot of time.

Any suggestions?

Can't really go wrong with a good known brand UPS. APC and Tripp lite I have had pretty good luck with both in the past. I have a cyberpower right now and it has been doing well for a few years now though the battery did die right at 2 years so I ended up replacing the battery.

The biggest thing is making sure you size the UPS to your needs. 1400VA is a lot of power even pulling around 600 watts it should last about an hour. So if you're wanting to be able to do some work before shutting down during a power outage a larger UPS like that would be worth it.

There's no place like ~

That's where I wasn't sure really. Seemed like 1400VA is a lot. Although the graph suggests that at full load I will have about 2 minutes only, which is fine though.

I own a cyberpower one:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00429N19W/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I nabbed it on black friday for close to 50% off. love it. you can set it up to shutdown the PC in an outage (i do leave it doing things in the background occasionally when I'm not home)

AMD Ryzen 3950x under a Noctua D15S, 32 Gb G Skill FlareX 3200 DDR4 running at 3200 CL14, Gigabyte Aorus Pro 570 Wifi, Gigabyte 2070 Super hooked to a Dell U2718Q 4k HDR monitor & an Acer 1440p 144hz IPS panel of some kind, an Inland 1 TB M.2 PCIE 4 main drive, a Samsung NVME M.2 250Gb, WD Blue 500Gb  and 1 TB SSDs, Corsair RMX750, Rainbows and butterflies...
