open an app not from store

I had the app install Mac OS high Sierra installed but then I formatted my drive but I took a copy on a usb

when I copy it from usb to the Mac it doesn't open

it says can't open application because it may be damaged or incomplete

how do I use it other than re downloading it cause. its 6gb

Security settings? 

If that’s not what you mean, the usb drive might not be in exfat or hfs format

no I copied it from usb to Mac again

then when its on Mac I run it

and it give me this error

Just redownload and reinstall it. 6GB isn't that much. You can even let it run overnight (although I doubt your wifi is that slow).
